Founder & Owner
Dan Duquette founded Dan Duquette Sports Academy in 2003.
He grew up in Dalton, Massachusettes and was the General Manager for Montreal Expos and Boston Red Sox. After spending his time in professional baseball, he remembered back to his past of volunteering as batboy for the Wahconah Regional High School baseball team, being captain of both baseball and football teams in high school, being a catcher and linebacker during his time at Amherst college, and helping organize the Dalton Collegians, a semi-pro baseball team that operated from his hometown. He wanted to give children in the area the same opportunity to practice, have a safe place to play and compete, and enjoy sports in the fresh air the way he did and continues to do so. The Academy was founded under the principles of competition, team bonding, nature, and fundamentals.
He currently is the General Manager for the Orioles.
