HINSDALE, Mass. (Monday, March 21, 2005) - The Dan Duquette Sports Academy
in Hinsdale, Mass. will host eight youth baseball tournaments this summer,
highlighted by a pair of major events over the Fourth of July weekend - the
Cal Ripken Baseball State Tournament and the "East Meets West Classic" for
players of high school age.

Tournament season kicks off June 17 with the Barrett-Fletcher Baseball
Qualifying Tournament, the first to be staged through a partnership between
Barrett-Fletcher and Duquette Sports Academy. For teams 12 & Under and 10 &
Under, the winners of these events earn berths to the Barrett-Fletcher World
Series in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The Cal Ripken State Tournament, for 10 & Under teams, runs July 1-7. The
winner moves on to the New England Championship for a chance to earn a spot
in the 2005 World Series. The Cal Ripken league is a division of Babe Ruth
Baseball, Inc.

Older youths get their shot at glory over the holiday weekend at the "East
Meets West Classic." Two divisions, 18 & Under and 16 & Under, are open to
Babe Ruth, AAU and American Legion squads. Top teams from Arizona have
already committed to facing some of the best New England has to offer July
2-4. This showdown includes games at Historic Wahconah Park in Pittsfield,
Mass. in addition to those at Duquette Sports Academy.

Five other Sports Academy Tournaments for teams of varying ages are
scheduled throughout the summer from June to August. There's a 13 & Under
tournament June 24-26, a 15 & Under tournament July 8-10, a 12 & Under
