The June 11th - 13th 2010 Tournament of Champions was full of offense. Teams battled hard this weekend against each other and the elements, but they all came to play. Almost every game had a combined score in the double digits. Thank you to everyone who participated and made the tournament possible and congratulations to our two tournament winners, the Capital Baseball Cyclones in the 13U tournament and the North Colonie Padres in the 15U tournament.

The June 25th- 27th Summer Blast Tournament was one of our most competitive tournaments this summer. More than half the games were decided by three runs or less and, several games, including an elimination game went into extra innings. We would like to thank everyone who participated or came to support the players. Congratulations to the Western Mass Storm 16U and the Southwick Saints 12U who are our two champions for the tournament.

The July 9th- 11th Summer Blast Tournament was another great tournament, our second biggest of the summer. Teams from all over came to play and won from Canada to New Jersey. We would like to thank everyone who participated this weekend or came to support the players. Congratulations to the Laurentian Red Sox 14U, the Middletown Warriors 13U, and the Long Island Indians 11u who are our three tournament champions.

The July 16th- 18th Summer Blast Tournament was just for the 15 year olds. Teams played great competitive baseball despite the weather. Once again we would like to thank everyone involved this weekend with either playing or supporting the teams. Congratulations to the Tribe Baseball team who came out victorious as our tournament champions this week.

The July 23rd- 25th Summer Blast Tournament was warm and exciting. Both the 14U and 19U age groups had strong competitive tournaments. The 14U tournament had strong teams from all over the region and the 19U championship was capped off with a walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth inning. Thank you to everyone for participating and a special congratulation goes out to our tournament champion Brentwood Chiefs in the 14U, and the Rhode Island Storm who defeated the defending champion Cornwall Dragons in the 19U.

The July 30th - August 1st Summer Blast Tournament had beautiful weather and strong baseball. Thirteen 13U teams came to play in two different brackets. The teams played great ball and many had a special opportunity to play in historic Wahconah Park, which is the oldest continually used ballpark in the nation. Thank you everyone for coming and congratulations to Pittsfield Babe Ruth who won the 8 team bracket on a walk-off hit, and to Tribe Baseball who have now won three different tournaments here this summer.

The August 6th- 8th 2010 Summer Heat Tournament had beautiful weather. It was perfect for baseball here as ten and twelve year olds squared off. Both age groups were intense with the championships being rematches of early pool games. Thank you everyone for coming and congratulations to the West Hartford Heat our 10U champions and the Berkshire Bulldogs who won the 12U tournament on a walk-off hit in extra innings. This is our third straight tournament with a walk-off hit deciding the championship.
