Buddy Pellerin Coach Pellerin is a member of the Massachusetts Baseball Coach’s Hall of Fame. He spent 19 years coaching for Pittsfield (MA) High School, compiling over 300 victories. Buddy is also a member of the U.N.I.C.O. baseball Hall of Fame and the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Hall of Fame. Coach Pellerin is a teacher of fundamentals and is well known for teaching his players an enthusiastic style of ball. Coach Pellerin has served on the Sports Academy coaching staff since our first summer of 2003. |

Bill Barrale Coach Barrale was named the head coach of Williams baseball after serving two years as an assistant coach and he promptly led his first Eph nine to the 2007 NESCAC title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament on the way to compiling a record of 27-10. In his second year in 2008 Barrale guided the Ephs to a record of 24-12 and to the NESCAC West title. Barrale has a two-year record of 51-22 at Williams. Prior to joining the Williams baseball and football staffs Barrale served as the head coach of baseball at Norwich University for five years and as an assistant football coach for six years. Barrale is a 1994 graduate of Northeastern University and was a standout in football and baseball and also received his Master’s degree from Rowan University in 2004. Coach Barrale is also the Eph’s offensive coordinator and QB coach. |

Joe Greenleaf Joe is a 4 year veteran of the Sports Academy. His has coached several local AAU, Babe Ruth and Little League baseball teams. He was also involved with the former Pittsfield Dukes NECBL college baseball team. Coach Joe emphasizes the fundamentals of baseball as a foundation for becoming a better player. |

Mark Ketley Coach Mark Ketley is the current assistant head coach and pitching coach for Wilton High School where has been coaching for 25 years. Coach Ketley is the former Head Coach for Wilton American Legion. Ketley who is a former pitcher for the University of Tampa and Central Connecticut State University, specializes in working with the outfielders at the Sports Academy. |

Steve Alonzo As the head baseball coach at Mt. San Jacinto College in California for many years, Coach Alonzo has had 18 of his players drafted by Major League Baseball. He has coached professionally, most recently as a hitting instructor in the Boston Red Sox organization with the Lowell Spinners (1999-2001) and in the Montreal Expos organization (1991-1994). Coach Alonzo has also played and coached professionally in Italy and, in 1988, received a master’s degree from Brigham Young University. Steve specializes in working with the hitters and catchers at the Sports Academy. |

Pat Boulger Coach Pat Boulger has been a member of the Sports Academy staff since our first year and is a favorite of all campers. He is currently a history / sociology teacher and coach at Drury High School in North Adams, MA. Coach Boulger has been apart of several Berkshire County and Western Massachusetts Championship teams with Drury during the past 6 years. He graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and is currently working on his Masters Degree. |

Mike Gambino Coach Gambino enjoyed a standout college baseball career at Boston College from 1997-2000, which was followed by a brief minor league career with the Boston Red Sox. As a senior at BC in 2000, Coach Gambino set a school record for hits in a season (78) en route to earning All-Big East, All-New England, and American Baseball Coaches Association Northeast Region first team honors. Since his playing days, Coach Gambino has coached in the Boston Red Sox organization as a both a special assistant to the major league club and an assistant coach for the Lowell Spinners, and most recently as an assistant coach with his alma mater Boston College Eagles. Coach Gambino has received praise for his ability to coach infielders and hitters. Mike previously served as a Scout for the Detroit Tigers and is currently the Head Baseball Coach at Boston College after working as an Assistant Coach at Virginia Tech. |

Joe Kerrigan Presently the pitching coach for the Philadelphia Phillies, Joe is considered one of the top pitching coaches in the majors. Kerrigan has pitched for both the Montreal Expos and the Baltimore Orioles. Joe’s coaching career started in Montreal where he helped groom the likes of Pedro Martinez, Ken Hill and Jeff Fassero. In 1996 Kerrigan joined the Boston Red Sox as pitching coach. In 2001 Kerrigan replaced Jimy Williams as manager of the Red Sox. Kerrigan has recently coached in the Major Leagues for the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates. |

Jeff Reardon Jeff is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who currently ranks 7th all time in saves with 367 and was once the all time leader in saves during 1992. He pitched in the Major Leagues from 1979 thru 1994 with the New York Mets, Montreal Expos, Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees. He also appeared in 4 all star games, and won the World Series in 1987. Jeff is a native of nearby Dalton, MA where he was teammate of Sports Academy owner Dan Duquette. After graduation from Wahconah Regional High School, he attended UMass Amherst and played baseball until signing to play professional baseball with the New York Mets in 1977. |

Brad Riddle Coach Riddle joined the Sports Academy staff in 2005 and is currently the Head Baseball Coach at Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Originally from Chicago, He was drafted and signed by the Atlanta Braves. Brad has also scouted for the Kansas City Royals and coached at Faulkner University. Coach Riddle’s teaching specialties include Hitting, Outfield play and Baserunning. |

Justine Siegal Justine is the Founder and President of Baseball For All. She is th first female to coach men's professional baseball and is the female coaching at the college level. She started playing baseball when she was 5, played thru high school, college fall ball and summer leagues. She is currently a PHD student in Physical Education with an emphasis on sports psychology at Springfield College, MA. |

Herm Starrette Coach Starrette was a standout relief pitcher with the Baltimore Orioles. His abilities to teach and instruct pitchers are well recognized within the ranks of Major League Baseball. Coach Starrette has served as pitching coach for the Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants, Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, and Baltimore Orioles. |

Bill Farrell Coach Farrell has worked at the Sports Academy since 2004 as both an Umpire and Instructor specializing in pitching. He played high school baseball in Lenox, MA and college baseball at North Adams State. Bill has coached youth softball and baseball for 15 plus years including work at Taconic High School, St. Joseph High School and he is currently coaching at Lenox High School. He also currently plays and coaches softball at the Berkshire County softball complex. During the winter, Coach Farrell is an instructor for both softball and baseball at Frozen Ropes - Albany. |

Maria Francese Is a Sports Management Major and Softball player at Western New England University in Springfield, MA. Maria is from Dalton, MA and attended Wahconah Regional High School where she was a two sport standout athlete in Softball and Soccer. She played on multiple state playoff teams and captained a state championship soccer team. Maria has worked at the Sports Academy for 4 summers as a counselor, coach, lifeguard and camp assistant director. Her primary teaching responsibilities include working with the infielders and pitchers. |

Ed Ladley A highly respected Coach and Teacher at Central Berkshires Wahconah Regional High School. Coach Ladley has coached numerous standout players including former Williams College player and current Boston College assistanct coach Pat Duquette. Coach Ladley's teams are annually some of the best in Western Mass and his resume includes several trips to the state championship. In addition to his basketball duties, Ed also serves as the State Commissioner for ASA Softball and is a respected College and High School Baseball Umpire. |

Pete Ellsworth Coach Pete is a Pittsfield resident and local coach for Basketball and Baseball with various age groups. He is currently the Athletic Director at Saint Joseph Central High School in Pittsfield.. He previously spent 26 years working at General Electric and 12 years at Lockheed Martin in a supervisory position. Coach Ellsworth has served on our staff for several years at the Sports Academy coaching Basketball, Baseball and Softball. Ron Wojcik Coach Wojcik is currently the head girls coach at Hoosac Valley High School after coach the Pittsfield High School boys team for 14 years. He is a resident of nearby Windsor, MA. |
